Get Involved

Meals on Wheels is supported by an army of volunteers. The range of involvement is varied and flexible to suit availability, skills and interests. We currently have over 120 volunteers helping across the Wingecarribee shire from Wingello to Yerrinbool, Canyonleigh to Roberston and all the towns in between including Bowral, Mittagong and Moss Vale.

Volunteers are the life blood of our organisation, without them we would not survive.

We have opportunities for volunteers to assist with the delivery of meals across the shire providing nutritious meals, social interaction and wellbeing monitoring to our ever growing client base. We also have opportunities in our kitchen to assist with preparing the meals and keeping to our A-grade kitchen standards. There are positions available in our offices to assist with administration and data entry as well as other activities. Another area for involvement is on our management board or the boards committees including, policy, finance, promotions and volunteer committees. There is also availability to assist with events, whether that be in taste testing, promotional talks, expos and a range of other opportunities.
